Who We Are

We are independent Haslett community members who run this site as concerned citizens. We believe transparency in public institutions is essential to informed civic participation.

What is FOIA?

The Michigan Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) gives every person the right to request and inspect public records held by government bodies. Under Michigan law (MCL 15.231–15.246), public bodies must respond to FOIA requests within five business days. These records belong to the public.

Independence

This site is not affiliated with any government entity, political party, candidate, or advocacy group. Our sole purpose is to make public information publicly available.

Accuracy

Documents are published as received from public records requests. We do not alter or edit documents. If a document contains information you believe to be inaccurate, the appropriate remedy is to contact the originating public body.
